BRAMBLETON PARK & RIDE LOT AVAILABLE TO LOUDOUN COUNTY
RESIDENTS
Leesburg, Virginia, Monday, August 27, 2012 – Brambleton, an award-winning master-planned community located in Loudoun County, Virginia, now offers a Park & Ride Lot for Brambleton and neighboring commuters. The Park & Ride lot hosts a commuter bus service from Brambleton to Rosslyn and Washington, D.C., 100 free parking spaces, and bike rack for added convenience.
"We are excited to be able to offer this convenience to residents of Brambleton and the Loudoun County community," said Supervisor Janet Clarke. "This is the first commuter lot for the Brambleton community, and offers a car-free solution for our residents and neighbors." The commuter lot is located on Creighton Road, convenient to the future Loudoun County Parkway, which is anticipated to become a major commuting route.
Loudoun County Transit operates rush hour service from Brambleton Park & Ride lot in Loudoun to destinations that include Rosslyn and the District, including several Metro stations. Brambleton introduced the new Park & Ride lot with an Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held on July 20, 2012 with Loudoun County Supervisor Janet Clarke. The Commuter Bus service has been very successful since service began, July 23, 2012.
