Dupont Circle's Early Years; A Gilt City Deal Goes Rogue

CONNECTICUT AVE—Tonight there is a book talk by James Srodes, the author of On Dupont Circle at Politics and Prose. The book goes into the history of the neighborhood just before WWI where, 'One house was home to the future Supreme court Justice Felix Frankfurter and the rising political writer Walter Lippman. The Dulles siblings lived nearby, as did Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the writer William Bullitt, and Herbert Hoover.' The talk begins at 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public [OfficialSite]

ONLINE—The Gilt City team passed on the news that chefs RJ Cooper and Patrick O'Connell are hosting another Rogue Session and they have a deal up now for anyone interested in getting in on the 24-course menu. The offer expires in a little less than three days. [CurbedInbox]
