At first this sounds like a good deal. Who wouldn't want to live in a luxury mansion for three hundred dollars a month? But there is just one little requirement from the 'educated male yet very social and fun-loving male' who is looking for roommates:
I will be the only male in the house. This is intended to be a Playboy/Sororiety [sic] house styled house, but everyone will keep their hands to themselves and respect everyone else's boundaries. I'm looking for attractive ladies ages 18-35 only. All races invited. So let's review. If you can play the part of temptress but also be willing to keep your hands off this fine gentleman you may be eligible for a spot in the mansion. He hasn't decided which mansion it's gonna be, but he is looking at several and will have one figured out by early September. The guy has also got himself a back-up plan since there's another ad a few lines up with an almost word-for-word copy of everything except the Playboy paragraph. From both ads:
Ideally I'd like a non-smoking roommate that is social but not annoyingly so. Someone that's independent, reliable, trustworthy, responsible and pays their bills on time. I'm a non-smoker, social drinker and I don't use drugs. I'm not partial to sex, race, nationality, etc. The rest of the ad goes on to explain the modern spacious home which he currently occupies, so either he's going to move out if enough sexy women (age 18-35, only) sign on or he'll be part-time resident of the bunny club.
