The Seventeen Year Plan To Make SW Much Less Crappy

Look, Ma! No grey buildings! Ever driven around the part of town just south of the Mall and thought if aliens landed here they would think they had reached Mars because there's no life anywhere as far as the eye can see? Seventeen years from now the aliens won't think that. There's going to be an eco-district where there is now only concrete. Come 2030, there will be a pedestrian-friendly walkways and buildings that don't look like fortresses. There's a public meeting on July 19th where you can give your input, ask questions, and learn more about the project.
