Sad news for lovers of the urban garden center Old City Green. They have lost their lease so that Douglas Development and CAS Riegler can co-develop a five story condo building later this year. As they write into PoP they see they, "are an example of a bigger issue going on here. Large condos are popping up all over the place, perpetuating the “building up, not building community” problem of gentrification." Not all is lost, at least not yet.
