Washington D.C.'s most renowned chefs participated in an evening for the community to experience a private, family-style dinner. Sunday Supper benefited the James Beard Foundation and FoodCorps events in DC.
The historic Market is being redeveloped by EDENS in an effort to create a best-in class, year-round, indoor food market featuring over 40 local vendors. This authentic artisanal marketplace will be a catalyst for a more vibrant Union Market District encompassing the culinary epicenter of D.C. Confirmed vendors at this time include: Rapphannock Oyster Co., a soda shop created by Gina Chersevani, DC Empanadas, an artisanal cheese shop created by Carolyn Stromberg, Trickling Springs Creamery, Peregrine Espresso, Lyon Bakery, Oh! Pickles, TaKorean, Red Apron Butchery, and Dolcezza. Union Market will officially open to the public on September 8, 2012.
