Bellevue Library

There may be some debate over the name of this library, but it is still capturing the eye of anyone who drives by. Those slats on the exterior and unusual footprint of the building were the design of architect David Adjaye who is also behind the museum of African-American history on the Mall. A few local bloggers caught some recent pictures, and if you want to see in-progress shots check out our previous coverage. There's also five minute video interview with the architect after the jump.
