This year's Washington Residential Design awards have been bestowed to homes in nearly every environ. A little bit of country, a little bit of city, but unfortunately, not a lot of rock and roll. For the aquatically-inclined, there are Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware homes on (or near) the water. And for landlubbers, there is a Capitol Hill home with a modern interior, a Dupont house with an open addition, and an Ashburn, Virginia apartment complex geared for biomedical researchers.
