The blogosphere was a flutter yesterday with the news of two people leaving the City Paper for The New Republic. Editor Michael Schaffer and Housing Complex columnist Lydia DePillis are transitioning over to TNR as a part of its new expansion efforts. That means the new top of the masthead at WCP will belong to Mike Madden and Jon Fischer. Real estate obsessives need not worry there is a replacement for Housing Complex to be announced. [WCP]
