White House CIO Buys

Here's double name-dropper house sale. This $7M house was designed by John Russell Pope (who also built the National Archives, the Jefferson Memorial, DAR Constitution Hall, and more) and it recently sold to the Chief Information Officer at the White House, Steve VanRoekel. This is the last DC residence designed by Pope that continues to be a private home. [WaPo; WaPo]
