This Is What A Thousand Dollars Per Square Foot Looks Like

So let's put this in perspective: DC's got some pretty expensive nabes. Dupont-Logan, one of the trendiest areas in the city, has a price per square foot running around $450-550, with certainly some listings exceeding $600/sq.ft. But this Georgetown listing is clearly in Manhattan money territory. Priced at $2.25 million and at 2,250 sq.ft., this gorgeous row house works out to $1,000/sq.ft and while some listings in the area even exceed that it is still enough to make you pause. And yes, the house has plenty of upscale features like a fireplace in the master bedroom and three full baths with Carrara marble. Of course, if you're in the market for a house in Georgetown, you are probably not too worried about sticker shock.
