Fire engine red on the exterior, popular condos on the interior. Welcome to The Standard Eleven—an old building that has been turned into eleven brand new living spaces halfway between Thomas Circle and Mt. Vernon Square. The units are quietly on the market—call it a soft open, if you will—but three of them have gone under contract already and the building isn't even finished (but will be this summer). We stopped by to take pictures last week so meander through the gallery to see an almost-finished condo that is still available. But over on their website are floorplans and funky renderings for each unit. Most of the units range from $450,000-$600,000, with a studio under $300K and a large unit for $799K at either end of the price spectrum. Vernon Square Metro it's no surprise buyers have been sneaking around putting in bids before anyone else.
