Winning The Bidding Wars

“For the three days after I put this listing on the market, my phone did not stop ringing, and there was a steady line of cars lined up in front of the house.” Spoken by a local real estate agent about the house pictured (in Springfield, Va). There's a blog post up now that looks at a number of recent sales that all went for over the asking price. Three of the houses are from DC and they each explain how the buyer was able to become the winning bidder. One tactic involved negotiating until 2 am. Yikes. [Redfin]
