The Post went deep this past weekend on the subject of Mount Vernon Triangle and its noticeable resurgence from a place where parking lots went to die to a part of the city that developers want to be in. Two thousand condo or apartments units were built from 2005 to 2011 and another 1,569 are in the works. But the biggest selling point is, as always, food. Both the Safeway grocery store and a selection of high-end restaurants are what make people think it is a destination worth going to.
