What to Eat at Nats Park; Taylor Gourmet Set For Dupont

STADIUM DINING GUIDES—This week, Eater sites across the country rounded up the best places to eat in and around America's baseball and basketball stadiums. Eater DC has got you covered when it comes to Nationals Park and the Verizon Center, and Eater National has a list of all the guides nationwide.

DUPONT CIRCLE—The next stop in Taylor Gourmet's expansion plans? Dupont Circle. The Philadelphia-style hoagie shop is moving into the former Mixt Greens space on 19th Street and, yes, they will be serving breakfast.

CLEVELAND PARK—Chef Mike Isabella announced this week that he's going to be taking over Tackle Box in Cleveland Park for a couple of weeks to preview his forthcoming Mexican small plates restaurant Bandolero as it remains under construction. Tickets for the preview are available now, culminating in a Cinco de Mayo party.

METRO CENTER—Behemoth restaurant/music venue The Hamilton is no longer open 24 hours a day, having scaled back their hours this week just a few months after their December opening.

FOOD TV—Bravo announced a new television show Life After Top Chef that will follow around former Top Chef contestants as they open up restaurants and build empires. Among the chefs? DC's own Spike Mendelsohn.

EATER 38—Earlier this week saw an update to the Eater 38, your answer and ours to any question that begins, “Can you recommend a restaurant?”

CLARENDON—The Green Pig Bistro opened its doors in Clarendon this week from chef Scot Harlan and Eater has a look at the menu which includes things like fried pimento cheese and fries topped with duck liver gravy.
