Parking Panda Makes Its DC Entrance

The new way to find short-term parking has shown up in DC as of today. Parking Panda is a start-up that grew from a hack-a-thon and the general idea is you can use your phone to find nearby parking spaces to rent by the day or perhaps a few hours. It was originally geared towards drivers needing to find spaces near sporting events, but now includes anyone looking for a place to keep their car. We posted a video of how it all works last year, when they were still based in Baltimore, but one of the co-founders is a Georgetown grad so they've been planning a move to DC for a while.
