The same people who brought the city St. Monica's are now planning a 24-unit building at 435 R Street, NW. Community Three plans to raze the current building and create a new one with units that will range in size from 500-800 square feet and cost roughly $250,000 to $350,000. The building is expected to take two years to be completed because of environmental remediation issues at the site.
