The Columbia Hospital for Women on L Street closed in 2002, but the complex now exists as a set of 225 luxury condominiums in three different buildings known as The Columbia Residences. There's a 2 bed, 2 bath penthouse that recently became available for $1,245,000 (that includes standard penthouse loveliness, including a private terrace, wet bar, parking, marble tub).
