Hey, did you hear? Housing is going well in DC. Okay, okay. We know everyone has been saying that for a while. But last week Redfin blogged about how since the beginning of the year 17% of listings had gone under contract within three days of being listed (this is for the dozen or so cities they track). But DC is scoring far higher than that. So far this year 28% of houses in the DC area have gone under contract within the first three days of being listed. Redfin put together a nifty chart of how all their cities rank and we've got it after the break. The only city ahead of DC is Austin, Texas.
