Fort Totten Dares To Become A Place People Want To Go To

There's a mixed-use development in the works for neglected Ft. Totten called Art Place at Fort Totten and nuthin's gonna stop 'em now. The construction fences are up, the raze permits are finally getting finalized and not even the Wal-Mart going in across the street will deter the developers. This four-building project will have 826 residential units, many parking spaces, a children's museum and senior center, and foot after square foot of retail. Developer Jane Cafritz says the demo of some of the existing buildings will begin in a few weeks and then we can sit back and wait until thirty or so months from now when Phase 1 will be complete.
