The street that has DC's newest most expensive house will soon have three new houses as neighbors, but they will cost a tad less than the pricey $16M mansion. For the plot of land currently addressed as 3030 Chain Bridge Road NW there will be one $7M house plus to two other $2.75M houses once the land gets subdivided. Some of you may recall this 1.5-acres of land as the Cafritz lot, owned by prominent DCite Peggy Cooper Cafritz, that has had its share of problems stemming from a major fire in 2009. She has put all that behind her and is selling the property so she can, "do some of things [she] did at 3030 somewhere else.”
