A recent 'data dive' in DC brought together a team of people who mapped neighborhood demographics in an easy-to-access interactive chart thingy. The goal was to look at how nabes feel from a kid's perspective, such as the number of libraries or day care centers in each place. But for people who don't have kids it is still a neat way to get to know the flavor of each place just by rolling over the different neighborhoods.
