The Trolley Turnaround Park at 11th and Monroe in Columbia Heights has undergone renovations over the last 6 months and will have its official ribbon cutting on March 3rd (tentatively scheduled). The park is such an epicenter of neighborhood activity that even before it reopened, parents and children flocked there after "a contractor neglected to lock the gates". But just in time for spring, Trolley Turnaround will again be a community hot spot to soak up some post-winter sun. -- George Perkins
