Architects have had it rough lately, what with the building industry barely making it and the report that came out saying new grads who majored in architecture have the highest rate of unemployment. One foundation has had enough and is taking matters into their own hands with a new campaign called "I Love Architecture Because...". The non-profit group Architecture For Humanity, that has a chapter here in DC, is asking for any and all admirers of the profession to proclaim their love publicly by uploading a video, nominating their favorite movies about architecture (minus points for the Fountainhead), putting together a playlist on Spotify, or write a love letter to their favorite building. They're running this project until early spring, so keep checking their website as they chronicle the lovefest.
