Navy Yards, Nats Park, Near SE. Whatever the area is called, there is another apartment development in the pipeline. Ruben Companies, in partnership with Shalom Baranes Architects, is planning a 400-unit building on Half Street between I and K on property acquired during foreclosure. The project includes retail along Half Street, and there are rumors Ruben's looking for "any 'organic markets' that might be interested". Since Ruben owns the entire block, there's room for further development in the burgeoning neighborhood. [JDLand]
