DC Design House Selects Designers; Mosaic Property Tour

We're off on Monday in honor of the presidents, but we're back in business on Tuesday.

SPRING VALLEY—This year's DC Design House is on Rockwood Parkway and the team has just announced the designers that were selected to makeover the house. The public will be allowed in for a 'bare bones' tour on Feb 25th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. [previously; WaPo]

MERRIFIELD—If you're following the large Mosaic development out where the Multiplex Cinemas used to be, you might want to attend the this event Tuesday that will unveil the official Mosaic Pylon and give people a tour of the property. WHO: Jodie McLean, President and Chief Investment Officer of EDENS, Congressman Gerald Connolly, Virginia State Delegate Jim Scott, and top executives from EDENS, will host and attend an unveiling ceremony for the official Mosaic pylon at the property on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.

WHAT: EDENS, one of the nation’s leading real estate owners and developers, will unveil the official Mosaic Pylon at the property followed by a walk down District Avenue to tour the property.

Mosaic, an urban grid design mixing hotel, office and retail, is a 31-acre mixed-use development located in the heart of Merrifield, Virginia. Mosaic is scheduled to open its doors to the public in Fall 2012.
