Wash Harbour Lawsuit

New, 1 comment

Things are still looking down-and-out for Georgetown's former restaurant and popular hangout Farmers & Fishers. Since being closed following the April 2011 flood at the Washington Harbour complex, Farmers & Fishers has sued its insurance broke Meltzer-Karlin Property & Casualty Inc. for $3 million because the broker supposedly failed to have flood insurance and live up to its claim of providing a "tailor-made package of products and services" for its client. With the busy tourist season just a few months away, let's see if this eatery can get back on dry land sometime soon.
