GEORGETOWNThe Streets of Georgetown is closing its Wisconsin Avenue business in January due to the "'financial situation' of the parent company", HMX. In other words, HMX filed for bankruptcy (again), but hopefully Streets of Georgetown will go out with a bang and not a whimper. [Georgetown Patch]

EXPANSION WIRE—People won't have to go all the way to Tysons if they want an appointment at Noufal Haircolor Studio. The owner is planning on expanding the business under a franchise model and is hoping to open 3-5 locations in the DMV over the next year. [Patch]
