Five units doesn't sound like a lot, but trying to figure out how to put them into an alley building is tough. That's why the developers will need to add two floors to this existing building that has been a place to keep horses, dairy trucks, regular cars, and soon people. Nothing has been approved officially but there hasn't been any major outcry from the public so the hoped-for Thompson Lofts will probably go ahead. That will bring four 2-bedrooms and one 1-bedroom plus ground floor retail to this alley behind Irving Street.
