Sotheby's Surpasses Two More Price Records For The DMV

As if finding a buyer for the most expensive sale at the Watergate wasn't enough, TTR Sotheby's has doubled down on their real estate accomplishments and brokered the sale of the most expensive condo ever for the DC area as well as the most expensive condo sale of the year for the District. The first is a 6,737 square foot penthouse in Chevy Chase's Parc Somerset building that went for $7.95 million. And the latter is the Lucky 7 condo in the 3303 Water Street building. This purchase had started out with an unusual asking price of $7,777,777 (which is easy to remember since it also had seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms), but took a price cut over the summer and found that $6.5M was going to bring in the buyer. We have the interior pictures of that unit after the jump. All three of these properties closed within the last month which means 2012 can officially be declared a good year for luxury real estate.
