The Watergate Sale Is The Highest Ever (For The Watergate)

Yesterday we mentioned the sale of a jaw-dropping Watergate condo that turned out to be the highest sale ever recorded at the complex. While it didn't quite get its asking price of $4.25M, the 3 bed/2.5 bath did earn $3,850,000 at final sale. It went on the market in October and it only took a few weeks for TTR Sotheby's to bring the buyer to the table. Gigi Winston, who repped the seller, gave a few hints over the summer that this unit was coming to market when she spoke about another sale that was at that point a record-setter for the Watergate. That unit went for $3.1M, so it was going to take something special to top that. What it took was a walk-in closet worthy of Nordstrom and a restaurant-quality kitchen to make it happen. We found a few more pictures of those amenities and some of the bedrooms that weren't in our original post so click through to see 'em all.
