Welcome to Racked DC where we dig deep into the retail world and let you know about the latest happenings in fashion and shopping. Know of something interesting coming to town? Send the news into our tipline.

GEORGETOWNBonobos Guideshop, the hot online men's retailer that making noise by setting up brick-and-mortar shops, is coming to Cady's Alley, which is also known as Georgetown's Design District. Bonobos gained fame by creating awesome pants, and the retailer has greatly expanded its offerings. So starting late January 2013, guys in-the-know have another place to stay sharp. CHINATOWNEdited for Goodwill: Peace & Goodwill is a pop-up operated by retailer Goodwill and will offer "holiday and winter apparel as well as a selection of seasonal accessories and wares". Everything sold will be donated to Goodwill. The pop-up runs from December 12-14 at 701 Ninth St NW. [Examiner]

MOSAIC DISTRICT—To celebrate the grand opening of Ginger Style at Mosaic District both area stores—in Bethesda and Merrifield—are offering 30% off storewide from today through December 16th. That includes fashionable items, plus their collections from Jonathan Adler, so you know we're excited.

WHITE HOUSE—Our nation's First Lady may be glamorous. And the same is true of Diana Ross. When together in the same room, that's one fierce female couple. Ross and Obama were together for the annual "Christmas in Washington" concert at the White House. And Diana Ross wouldn't be Diana Ross without at least one costume changeAnd Gangnam's Psy also stopped by. [Huffington Post]

DMV—Taking hot shoes to the next level then adding a dash of spice. Or make that mumbo sauce. Kevin Durant's new kicks, the Nike KD V, give props to the DMV's propensity for that fine mumbo sauce because Kevin's "fav color of the KDV's are the DC/Seat Pleasant Mumbo sauce joints". [WaPo]

GEORGETOWNLost Boys, the men's store in Georgetown, was profiled in a behind the scenes look during New York Men's Fashion Week. And for the clip, the music is also fun. Bonus.
