The DC Preservation League has announced the DC buildings/places that are the most threatened for redevelopment and they run the gamut from the Bond Bread Factory on Georgia Ave to the former Thai Embassy on Kalorama Road. There's even a cemetery on the list (pictured, Mount Zion Cemetery). They also share the tidings that some buildings previously on their list have been saved from the wrecking ball. They are the DC War Memorial, Battleground National Cemetery, the Howard Theatre and Engine Company 6. Click over to see the full list and an explanation of each building's history and why it is at risk of becoming extinct.
