Victorian Elegance Now Includes Astroturf

Here's a pricey Capitol Hill home that couldn't spring for some courtyard landscaping. The listing brags 'mid-century opulence in huge Victorian estate setting' which must surely mean that the fake grass is one of those newfangled inventions the Victorians would have wanted in their homes (the house was built in 1881, so at least they're right it is from the Victorian era). There's also a detached carriage house and a garage that is specifically described as being big enough for both Bentleys. The 2 bed, 3 bath is asking $1,450,000.
