Holiday-Adorned Vessels Sail from Alexandria to Washington Channel
November 26, 2012, Washington, D.C. – The Washington Waterfront Association and Old Dominion Boat Club today announced the Twentieth Parade of Lighted Boats along the Southwest Waterfront on December 1, 2012 from 5:30PM to 8PM. In addition to the magical display of decorated boats sailing from Alexandria to Washington, DC, the festival will include a surprise snow fall, lighting of the waterfront Christmas Tree, complimentary photos with Santa Claus, and live holiday music. The Parade is sponsored by Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, Arena Stage, Cantina Marina, Channel Inn, Entertainment Cruises, Gangplank Marina, Gangplank Slipholders Association, Jenny's Asian Fusion Restaurant, Jazz Night in Southwest, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Phillip's Flagship Restaurant, Port of Washington Yacht Club and Visit Alexandria, VA.
