The biggest shopping day of the year is happening in T-minus some hours. For some, it's a night/morning consumers dream about. For others, it's a day to really avoid the roads. MOSAIC DISTRICT—One of the newest shopping districts in the region is gearing up for its inaugural Black Friday. To give buyers a taste on what's in store for Fairfax's Mosaic District, the shopping complex hosted Fashion Night to get shoppers' salivary glands ready for some action. GEORGETOWN—Egyptian jewelry designer Azza Fahmy showcased her Middle Eastern designs at a trunk show in the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Hosted by Syra Arts, the guests saw models decked out in linens and jewels. Attendees included a who's who of the city's Middle Eastern power broker scene, including the ambassadors for Qatar and Egypt. [Official Site]
DMV—Don't forget to keep your dollars local this Saturday by supporting small businesses.
