See A Different Side Of Washington D.C.

Beer drinking just became highly educational. Sidetour—the company that brings lesser-known city sights to the masses—has just expanded to DC along with an initial offering of its usual off the beaten track experiences. Spend two hours in the company of a CIA disguise technician or test drive the new electric car from Tesla (that's the preview tour Curbed was invited to attend, which certainly met its expectations) or learn how to break dance from a master. There's also a few food and drink offerings—such as how to brew your own beer, make your own chocolate, or fully appreciate the subtleties of whiskey. The experiences usually run about two hours and typically cost anywhere from $35-$100 per person and are kept to a small group of people so everyone can experience the fun. More experiences are coming as they roll out fully in the city, so check the site to see what else is on offer.
