As soon as today's clocks strike noon the doors will open on the new, long-awaited, much-delayed Jonathan Adler Store on Wisconsin Avenue. Fans rejoice all around. What could be better than that? An in-person visit from the illustrious Mr Adler himself, you say. For that fans will have to wait until after Thanksgiving. He'll be at the store on Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 6-8 p.m. to promote his new book "100 Ways to Happy Chic Your Life". [Update: We've heard from the PR team that the event has been changed to an invite-only party. Sorry Adler fans, but maybe when he publishes his next book he'll make a stop in DC.]
But, most importantly, the store will be open on Black Friday so mobs of mod lovers can do all their holiday shopping in one stop. Stop by and feel the throw pillows in person.
