Northern Virginia's Passive House market is about to double in size. There will soon be two houses in the region that don't require a normal heating and cooling system now that Fairfax County has a Passive House under construction (the passive house EVAC system is pictured). This joins a house in Arlington, one in Bethesda, and one in DC to bring the grand total to four. Do check out the newest member of the family in Pimmit Hills. [WaPo; previously; previously]
