What It Looks Like Inside Archstone First & M

Welcome to the future. The relatively new apartment building in NoMa at the corner of First and M Streets has set the standard for the neighborhood and that standard means shiny reflective surfaces from top to bottom. It also means high-tech amenities, like Apple TV in the theater room and a pool that is heated with excess heat from the building's HVAC system. Since it is right across the street from a Harris Teeter and a seasonal farmers market the interest has been high ever since they started leasing over the summer. The 469-unit building just passed the 50% leasing rate this month, which is a strong showing for a neighborhood that is only jus starting to come into its residential stride. The units start around $2,000 for a studio and go over $4,000 for a three bedroom, but since there are so many units it is hard to provide a full price list. Instead we have some eye-candy after the jump with pictures of their amenities that cater to dog-loving musicians who like to cook.
