Be A House Bitch In Exchange For Free Rent

New, 2 comments

Exchanging room and/or board for housework is nothing new (just ask a housewife) but the terms of this particular agreement are strict. Eighteen hours per week of work are the minimum, to be evenly divided into work done on the house (cleaning, cooking delicious vegan meals, etc.) and work done for the landlord's To Do list—everything from helping with dissertation research to doing their laundry. It might also require some remedial math tutorials since the ad's writer explains s/he expects one hour of work in both these categories, but then later specifies nine hours for each. In either case, with the exchange you can live here rent free, and even bring a friend if they're willing to get in on the work thing too.
