October's numbers show that the low inventory story hasn't gone away and that is one reason why prices are trending upwards (see the five big reasons right here). In fact there are half as many active listings as compared to two years ago. Condos and townhouses make up a big part of the market's activity, with townhouses having the highest median price growth compared to single family homes and condos.
