A rare raze permit has been supported by the Georgetown community and ANC for this derelict home on Dent Place. It was an ailing structure to begin with but Hurricane Irene delivered the final blow in the form of a fallen tree. Neighbors described the vermin and mosquitoes that had moved in before approving their farewells. [Patch; GM]
