Last year McLean's homage to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue went on the market to much hoopla but all that hype didn't turn it into a sale (even if Redskin alum LaVar Arrington scoped it out). That was when the six bed, eight bath was asking $4,650,000, but not before it dropped down to $4,250,000. Still the huge house, with an Oval Office, was forlorn and lonely on the listing service. It disappeared quietly for a number of months, but it's back with a new price of $3,999,950. That makes it $333 per square foot—a steal for such architectural ingenuity.
