With all the development going on in the southern part of DC it is easy to get confused about which development is going up where. The Wharf is the development in Southwest that will be 47 acres of newness and is often referred to as the new Southwest Waterfront. The Yards is a 42-acre project taking root in Southeast between Nationals’ ballpark and Washington Navy Yard. That project includes the new Yards Park, Boilermaker Shops, and Foundry Lofts building. Click over for the Natural Resources Defense Council's green-eyed view of how the two projects are being built to as many LEED specifications as possible.
