The First Attempt At Speciality Hospital's Reincarnation

The empty half of Specialty Hospital is going to go residential, assuming the various approvals fall into place. The gallery above shows developer IBG's first renderings of the plan for the existing building, which they hope to turn into approximately 140 apartments and a yet-to-be-determined number of below grade parking spots. The other half of the site is currently a critical care/nursing home facility and there are no plans to change it. Flip through the gallery to see an aerial view of the site with shading that indicates how the new layout will most likely look. UPDATE: Tonight, January 26th 2012, IBG Partners will present their project at St Monica's Church at 222 8th St, NE. The meeting starts at 7pm.
