Stephen Fuller, the economic guru who made a splash predicting a slowdown in the DC economy, has a little-known connection to John Lennon. He recently spent twelve days with his wife sailing in the Caribbean on his thirty-five year old boat. Pretty unremarkable. Except it was John Lennon's boat. Yes, the same John Lennon who was always giving peace a chance. He used it to sail from Maine to Bermuda before putting together his last album (Double Fantasy). Lennon's signature is even on the boat's log. Sounds like the perfect way to harness good energy and escape DC's winter doldrums. [WaPo; Bisnow]
