We're back with the Pending Sales Index for contracts in December, and the two biggest takeaways are that foreclosure sales are down significantly and the DMV ended the year with the lowest amount of active listings since August 2005. Specifically, there are only 10,684 active listings on the books and only about 6% of them are under foreclosure (which is half of what it was a year ago).
