Herringbone looks great on floors, but as wallpaper made from some kind of rope? Survey says...heck no! There's a few other rooms that make this a house a sight for sore eyes, but despite all that it still went under contract in about a week. As a short sale listed for only $89,000 someone knew a good deal when they saw one. Out in Oxon Hill, MD, it is a 3 bed, 1 bath which needs a fair bit of work. But, the moral of this story is act fast if you see a short sale/fixer-upper with a toy SUV parked in the driveway (we're looking at you picture three).
