Tareq Salahi and his winery equipment didn't earn enough to satisfy very many of the creditors that want their money back. This Sunday's auction raised $170,000 from the sale of 169 items that included everything from unopened bottles of wine to the equipment needed to make it. The most expensive item to sell was an automated bottling system that went for $59,000. Tareq himself bought about eight ceramic wine-making tanks for $300 each because he wants to start a small winery on the land which he still owns. Everything that was for sale found a buyer, but since there are at least forty-six creditors waiting for payment we think there's going to be more money-making ventures in this guy's future.
